Dr.Scott E. SandersonM.D.
Dr. Sanderson graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997 and received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 2002. Following a one-year internship at Hennepin County Medical Center, he completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota where he was the recipient of many awards for demonstrating exceptional research, clinical skills, compassion, aptitude and knowledge.
As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Sanderson performs cataract and refractive surgery. He also has a special interest in medical problems of the retina including diabetes and macular degeneration. Additionally, he brings to our practice the subspecialty of oculoplastic surgery, treating functional and cosmetic eyelid problems.
Dr. Sanderson is an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Minnesota Department of Ophthalmology.
He is a board certified member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology.
